Browser Notifications

Browser notifications appear in the corner of the screen. They contain essential information about an incoming message: the name of the sender, the subject and the beginning of the message. To open the message, click on the notification.

Browser notifications are supported only in Chrome 44 and later versions.

To enable browser notifications:

  1. Set the “Browser notifications” switch to “ON”.
  2. In the drop-down list, check the boxes next to folders from which you want to receive notifications. Click “Select all” to receive notifications from all folders.
  3. Select the time when you want to receive notifications. Check the box next to “Anytime” to get notifications around the clock.
  4. Click “Save”.

  2. Set “Allow (default)” for “Notifications”.

Tab Notifications

Tab notifications are shown if you have Mail open but are working in a different tab. In this case, you will hear an alert and see that the title of the Mail tab has changed.
